Cepa Tradicional

Vintage
1996

Varietal and Vineyard Locations
This is a wine produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec grapes, and in lesser proportion Merlot. It has a larger percentage of Cabernet, harvested from our vineyards located in the regions of Maipu and Tupungato, Province of Mendoza.

Harvest and Production
The production of these three varietals from which Cepa Tradicional results, follows the most advanced enological techniques in the world. The meticulous control of production enhances the tannic structure and aromas of each varietal. The harmonious blend of these traditional varietals in Bodega La Rural in Coquimbito is brought out by the use of noble oak vats from Nancy.

Winemakers Notes
COLOR: Very intense red.
AROMA: Intense and complex, showing some red fruit, spices and secondary aromas coming from oak aging.
PALATE: Soft and silky, very complex, full bodied with a sweet and ripe finish, softened by the long aging in oak. This wine goes very well with any type of grilled meat. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 15 to 18 Celsius.
